DIRECTOR / PHOTOGRAPHER / CINEMATOGRAPHER
1984年愛知県生まれ。カメラマンアシスタントを2年間経験後、2011年に東京にて活動開始。外国からの仕事のオファーを機に、2015年渡米。NYの生活を通して多様な価値観、洗練された世界中のアートに触れ、独自のスタイルを発展させていく。写真展開催・作品集販売などアーティストとしての活動の幅を広げた。現在、六本木ヒルズ アート＆デザイン ストアにて、HAYATOのZINEの販売がされている。
また、2019年に撮影プロダクション“October Studios”をNew Yorkに設立。数多くの大手企業・ブランドの広告／CM撮影の指揮をした。2020年に活動拠点をNYから東京へ移す。

Hayato Iki
Born in Aichi, Japan in 1984. Hayato started his photography career in Tokyo, Japan in 2011. He moved to New York in 2015. Since then he has been developing his own style and aesthetic.
His family originated from a long history of Japanese monks. Since his early childhood, the philosophy and spirituality of Buddhism have been a huge influence on him. Because of this background, his interest in both the cycle of life and transcendence is often seen throughout his artworks.
Hayato’s photographs provide a glimpse into an alternative world, rich with the abstract and color associated with surrealism. He presents his work through cityscapes in New York, fashion and nude portraits.
